  I feel our Beaver’s have been slighted as the no. 3 team from the conference. The Sun Bowl needs to change their silly rule, or the Pac 10 needs to find a replacement bowl for that position. The Bowl a school goes to reflects how good the team is that year. The Beavers ahve been slighted by the Sun Bowl policy. I am proud of what these young men have accomplished this year. It does sound as though most Beavs are happy about not going back to El Paso. I think the Team will enjoy San Francisco, it is a beutiful scenic city with probably more to do for them before and after their game. Go Beavers!!!!

  Unfortunately, from what he heard before the Civil War, the Ducks were going to the Sun Bowl regardless of the outcome of the Civil War (a well placed source in the UO’s Athletic department told us that).

  Bowl games are reflective of the teams. But…after you get past the No. 2 bowl in each league, it probably doesn’t really matter.

  Here’s how I’m thinking about it. If I were a player, I would prefer to go to San Fran. As I fan, I would prefer to go to San Fran. As a college football fan, I would rather see OSU-Maryland, than two never-were’s in UO-USF.
