I am thankful I am a Beaver because it means that I am not a Duck. I know, seems small and narrow, but that’s the way we all feel. We feel that we are the Oregon’s team. Not Portland/Eugene’s team. We represent a much broader spread of who Oregonians are and where they live and how they live. Not more people, just a more diverse set of folks.
And most of all, we have Mike Riley and Jay Locey. Who would you rather have your son play football for as they become adults? Riley or Bellotti?
I think I know how Bob Welch would answer that question.
